I love to read and thankfully there are so many wonderful books of faith available.  Though I like a hard copy, I find myself downloading books to my Kindle more and more due to the speed and  convenience.   I will list here just some of the books I have found to be very helpful in my walk with Christ.

****THE CHRISTIAN IN COMPLETE ARMOUR

After watching old footage of both Leonard Ravenhill and David Wilkerson, both men of deep prayer, on youtube  and hearing both recommend one book in particular as “must” reading,  I decided I would do just that.  It is a book called “The Christian in Complete Armour,” by William Gurnall. This book was written in the 1600′s and yet is not dated in any way.  The language has been modernized  so as to make it more understandable.  It is a remarkable book!  Every page is filled with golden spiritual nuggets and explanations.  I purchased the 3 volume version and after completing the 1st volume have decided to reread it before jumping into volume 2.  There is too much I am afraid I may have missed.  It truly is “must” reading.  Gurnall has an amazing way of clarifying the source of our troubles and what exactly we need to do to protect ourselves and to fight the good fight.

I purchased the 3 volume series on amazon.ca for just over $20 and it is worth more than it’s weight in gold! For anyone wanting to press on to deeper things get yourself a copy.  It will change your life.

**** DEVELOPING A SUPERNATURAL LIFESTYLE

This book is written by Kris Vallotton. Over the Christmas holidays I read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. For those interested in walking in the gifts of the Spirit it is a very good read!

****SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Written by Dr. Karl Payne  is an excellent book for anyone wanting to understand the authority of Christ in Spiritual Warfare and how to use this authority to set captives free.  The book  can be purchased through Amazon.ca or Amazon.com for around $12 and is also available for Kindle for less.

 ****4TH DIMENSIONAL LIVING IN A 3 DIMENSIONAL WORLD

I purchased this book for my Kindle  on Amazon.ca and it was under $12 and was an amazing read. It was written by Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Pastor of the world’s largest church, in South Korea.  A great read for anyone wanting to move forward in prayer and their walk with  Christ.

****THE POWER OF PRAYER IN A BELIEVER’S LIFE

Written by Charles Spurgeon. I can’t say enough good things about this absolute gem of a book on prayer!

****THE HEART OF THE PROPHETIC
