In  a world where wrong is right and right is wrong it is sometimes hard to navigate. If we look to our culture for direction we will be torn in so many different directions that we won’t know where we are going! For those of us who have made a decision to follow Christ, we have the ultimate navigator. Not only does He know our past but He also knows our future! He also knows the beginning and the end.

Christ doesn’t lead us with callousness or disregard. He leads us with blood bought love. He leads us through temptations He himself endured. He leads us regardless of our past failures, disappointments and sin. He is our beautiful King and though we have disappointed Him many times, He will NEVER disappoint us!

I am so grateful that He loves me. I am so grateful that He was willing to pay the ultimate price to show that love for me and everyone else. Though I have failed many times, His mercies are new every morning. He offers us a new opportunity to walk in His presence every day. He has equipped us with the Holy Spirit to enable us to do that. On our own we cannot.

With all that He has done for us, He longs for us to love Him with abandon. Following Him where He leads us, honoring His Word. We are to be unashamed of the gospel! Though some may try and pick and choose what is politically correct to follow, He has called His followers to follow His ways, not the ways of man and if we love Him we will.

In a dark world where good has been twisted to evil and evil to good let us follow in the footsteps of Apostle Paul when he wrote Romans 1:16,17 NIV¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. ¹⁷ For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
